Affiliate Club Interest

If your group is interested in club affiliation with the Florida Wildlife Federation, please read the following information.

The Florida Wildlife Federation was established in 1937 by a group of hunting and sportsmen's clubs that joined with similar groups across the United States to establish the National Wildlife Federation to promote conservation of America's fish and wildlife resources. Now in our 72nd year, the Federation's base of support has broadened to represent sportsman conservationists and people concerned about increasing threats to fish and wildlife as well as the quality of our environment. Today the Federation is represented and supported by private citizens including our traditional constituents as well as a diverse group of conservation-minded citizens from all across Florida.

FWF is a statewide, non-profit citizens' organization, which promotes, through education and advocacy, the conservation which includes protection, restoration, and sound management of Florida's fish and wildlife and their habitats, both for today and for future generations. The Federation also encourages the public's appreciation of Florida's environment through ethical, sustainable, resource-based outdoor recreation. That's why the strong base of support built over the years is so very important now and why the participation of affiliate clubs has always been so vital to the success of the Federation.

If you share our goals and objectives, we would like to discuss your group's possibile affiliation with the Federation. At present, the dues for your organization would be $100.00 per year, plus $1.00 per each member over 100 members.

All officers in your organization will receive the Federation's publication "Florida Fish and Wildlife News" after affiliation. In addition, we can provide the publication electronically to all of your members if email addresses are submitted. Your organization will be encouraged to send a delegate to the Federation's House of Delegates/Board of Directors meetings which take place four times a year at different locations across the state.
