FWF's First Annual
Hybrid Car Sweepstakes
2007

(Winners listed below)

Stephanie Zottoli of the CPA firm Carroll and Company draws the winning tickets in FWF's First Annual Hybrid-Car Sweepstakes.

For the first time, the Florida Wildlife Federation held a Hybrid Car Sweepstakes to help raise money to support the conservation initiatives of the Federation. The purpose is two-fold. One is to raise badly needed funds to pursue conservation of our state’s natural resources, including clean air and water. We also feel that the expanded use of fuel-efficient, hybrid automobiles, along with a wide range of other environmental programs, is an important part of FWF’s forward-looking energy policy to address the climate change to which our state is highly vulnerable. We are also working in partnership with other states on a sound energy policy for the future of the United States. By taking part in our sweepstakes programs you’ll be helping us conserve and protect the things we love about living in Florida.

Proceeds from the sweepstakes will be used to pursue vital programs right here in Florida from Pensacola to Key West including wetlands protection, clean air and water efforts, responsible outdoor recreation, Everglades restoration, public land acquisition and stewardship of fish and wildlife resources.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this important fundraiser!
